IPB delegates in this debate competition consisted of Randi Firmansyah (Department of Communication and Community Development), Apip Nurdin (Department of Biology), and Rifat Abdat (Department of Soil Science and Land Resources). This competition is an annual event of STIE Madani, and is the largest event summarized in the Madani Festival. To win this competition, they must compete with teams from other universities in Indonesia. This creative economic debate competition was quite tight. Starting from the elimination round to the semifinals, they were confronted by teams from various universities all over Indonesia. Prior to joining this competition, the participants were selected by writing essays on the potential of creative industries in Indonesia. Several teams qualifying for the competition then went to Balikpapan.
