Small scale fisheries (SSF) are almost never touched by the frenzy of technological developments and industrialization processes, which are now entering the 4th phase or better known as Industry 4.0. Small-scale fisheries in Indonesia, since 10, 20, 30 and even 50 years have practically not changed. The only change that has ever been experienced is the introduction of a motorization from the industrialization era 1.0, in the form of an outboard motor and a part of an inboard motor to move fishing boats.
