The 8th International conference held by the Indonesian Chemist Association (HKI) is a routine event that brings together chemists from all over Indonesia. The 8thInternational Conference of the Indonesian Chemicals Society titled “Chemistry for Human Welfare” on 6-7 August 2019 was held by the close collaboration between IPB University, specifically the Department of Chemistry and the Department of Biochemistry of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), HKI Java West Java and Banten, the Department of Chemistry of the University of Nusa Bangsa, the Department of Chemistry at Pakuan University, and the Bogor Academy of Chemistry Polytechnic Analysis (AKA).
