Dr. Kustiariyah Tarman, IPB University Lecturer from the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences said that Indonesia is a major producer of various marine products such as seaweed, shrimp, tuna and crabs. According to him, with a high production volume, it cannot provide great added value. In fact, he said, most marine products are imported in raw form.
