The Forest Plant Genome Research Team from IPB University led by Professor Iskandar Z Siregar was invited by the Asia-Pacific Region Office Nanopore. Prof Iskandar and colleagues were invited to present their research results using a portable sequencer. The forum also featured speakers from other ASEAN countries, including from Mahidol University Thailand, Institut Pasteur du Cambodge Cambodia, Worldfish Malaysia, and Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
