Several IPB University lecturers from the Department of Conservation of Forest Resources and Ecotourism, Faculty of Forestry and Environment, conducted ethnobiological research on the Aceh Gayo Tribe. They are Dr. Arzyana Sunkar, Dr. Syafitri Hidayati, and Dr. Adisti Permatasari Putri Hartoyo.
