Primate Numbers Are Dwindling, 5 Endemic Primates In Danger Of Extinction

Prof Randall C Kyes, PhD, a senior professor from the Washington National Primate Research Center, Director of Center for Global Field Study, University of Washington mentions that the population of Indonesia’s primates are dwindling. According to extraordinary professor on Primatology Study Program, Postgraduate School IPB University, the reduction of population is caused by loss of habitat, climate chance, over exploitation to wild animals, pathogenic infections and other infectious diseases.
