Mohamad Saeful Hidayat, a student from the Graduate School of IPB University in Marine Sciences revealed facts about shark fishing in Indonesia. Under the supervision of Dr Hawis Madduppa and Dr I Wayan Nurjaya, Saeful studied the shark fishing activity at Sangihe and Sitaro (Siau-Tagulandang-Biaro), North Sulawesi.
