Water Quality Monitoring of Situ/Reservoir and Rivers at DKI Jakarta Province (2020)

Monitoring the quality status of lakes/reservoirs and rivers at DKI Jakarta province in 2020 is a continuation of the Environmental Research Center-IPB (in collaboration with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Environmental Service (DLH). This monitoring activity was carried out in 61 ponds/reservoirs spread across the DKI Jakarta Province. The results of the study are used to determine the condition of the water quality of the lake/reservoir and river, priority locations, and efforts related to the management of the lake/reservoir and river.

Objectives:

  • Determine the status of water quality in situ/reservoir and river.
  • Determine the location of the lake/reservoir and priority river.
  • Prepare directives or recommendations for the management of lakes/reservoirs and rivers.

Benefits for Society and Environment:

  • Provide information on the quality of water in situ/reservoir to the community.
  • Provide understanding to the community regarding community participation in maintaining the condition of the lake/reservoir, especially at priority locations.
