As a meeting place for ideas and actions of people who have great attention to the world of shipping and fisheries, in early 2020 the Indonesian Fisheries Ship Community (MKPI) was established at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences IPB University with the elected chairman Dr. St Aisjah Farhum. As a form of concern for being able to develop research-based fishing vessels to support sustainable fisheries development, MKPI held its first symposium.
