The Food and Fertilizer Technology Center Asia-Pacific (FFTC) in cooperation with The Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI) held an international video conference with the theme “Crop Resilience for Adaptation to Climate Change: Rice”. Various rice variety experts from various countries in Asia are invited to participate as speakers, namely from Indonesia, Taiwan, Malaysia, Philippines, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam. As a representative from Indonesia, the organizing committee presented rice disease expert, Dr Suryo Wiyono, Lecturer of IPB University as well as Chairman of the Department of Crop Protection, Faculty of Agriculture (Faperta).
