Fungi or mushrooms are organisms that play a role in decomposition of organic materials, nutrition recycling, mobilization and nutrition allocation in an ecosystem. Other than that fungi can also be pathogenic though they can also be symbiotic like mycorrhizae that undergo symbioses with plants.
