IPB University provides formal and informal educational programmes on freshwater ecosystems that are available for local and national communities. 

IPB has several educational programs focused on freshwater ecosystems, including: 

  •  Aquatic Resource Management 

The programme objectives of the Aquatic Resources Management (ARM/MSP) are mastering in applying management of aquatic resources, environment, and space, based on carrying capacity, conservation, and sustainability principles. Aquatic Resource Management has undergraduate and postgraduate study programmes (master’s and doctoral). 

Summer Course “Tropical Aquatic Biodiversity and Management from Highland to Ocean (H2O)” 

This is a summer course organized annually by the Department of Aquatic Resource Management since 2021. In 2022, This summer Course was held on August 16 – 24 (for 9 days) and involved in The International Symposium on Aquatic Resources Management 2022.

“Training on Hydrological Modelling in Watershed Management”

This training is organized by IPB Training center, which aims to improve local capacity development on managing the watershed. The topics in this training include an introduction to the hydrological cycle, analysis of watershed management using GIS, and hydrological modeling using HEC HMS and SWAT applications. Online education programs aimed to educate the local & national communities on water management & conservation. 

Webinar Safe and Sustainable water for Quality Life 

South-East Asia Food and Agricultural Science and Technology Center (SEAFAST-IPB) in collaboration with PT. Tirta Investama (Danone Aqua) held an educational webinar for the public regarding the importance of safe, quality water for metabolism. This Webinar was held on 14th Februari 2022 and attended by 654 online participants.

IPB University offers educational programmes / outreach for local or national communities on sustainable management of fisheries, aquaculture and tourism. 

  1. SCORES (School of Coral Restoration) 

IPB developed SCORES (School of Coral Reef Restoration) which is a platform for learning for the general public about the implementation of coral reef restoration in Indonesia and several other countries.

  1. Expert IPB was developed the Sustainable Fisheries Management Module 

IPB’s Expert, Dr. Muhammad Fedi A. Sondita, was involved in preparing the sustainable capture fisheries management module. This finalization activity was held mid-March 2022 to continue the discussion on December 21, 2021. This meeting was attended by various representatives from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP), AUP Polytechnic, Marine Stewardship Council (MSC), Indonesian Pole and Line and Handline Fisheries Association, and the WWF Indonesia Foundation.

  1. Center for Coastal and Marine Resource Studies (CCRMS) IPB University in Collaboration with Indonesian Red Cross held Socialization of Integrated Coastal and River Basin Management

CCRMS IPB University collaborated with Indonesian Red Cross held Socialization of Integrated Coastal and River Basin Management, Achievement Motivation Training and ecosystem rehabilitation to the community in Manggarai Regency. This Event held on 18th October 2022 in Aula Efata Ruteng, Manggarai Regency. Socialization of studies related to assessing the importance of green mitigation, building economic resilience, preparing river area protection from upstream to downstream. The focus of this program was protecting and improving coastal ecosystems, especially the development of Eco-tourism in the Reok sub-district area, Manggarai Regency.

  • Prof. Indra Jaya is involved in sustainable tuna fisheries management.

Prof. Indra Jaya as Chair of the Compliance Commission of the Indian Ocean Tuna Commission the Indian Ocean Tuna Commission (IOTC) Compliance Commission 2022-2024. IOTC regulates how to properly manage tuna fisheries so that tuna stocks in the Indian Ocean remain healthy and sustainable. The task of the Compliance Commission is to ensure that fishing in this region is carried out based on international instruments related to fisheries governance in the high seas and joint agreements (resolutions) between tuna fishing countries.

  1. Coral Reef Rehabilitation and Management Program 

Coral Reef Rehabilitation and Management Program – Coral Triangle Initiative (COREMAP-CTI) is the program from Indonesia Climate Change Trust Fund (ICCTF) that collaborated with PKSPL (Center for the Study of Coastal and Ocean Resources) IPB University and other stakeholders in Raja Ampat, West Papua. This program succeeded in rehabilitating 100 square meters of coral reef ecosystem area, 1,000 square meters of mangrove ecosystem area, and 500 square meters of seagrass ecosystem area. COREMAP-CTI also gave community empowerment for the community around Raja Ampat. This program developed species-based tourism on protected and unique marine biota.

Overfishing etc.

In 2022, IPB offer educational outreach activities for local or national communities to raise awareness about overfishing, illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing, and destructive fishing practices:

IPB Experts provided education outreach to the national community to raise awareness of overfishing

 

IPB University in collaboration with the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Affairs provided educational activities to raise awareness of overfishing, particularly about Potential Estimation, Number of Allowable Catches, and Level of Utilization of Fish Resources in WPP NRI. This activity was held to follow up Decree of the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Number 19 of 2022 concerning Estimation of Potential, Number of Allowable Catches, and Level of Utilization of Fish Resources in the fisheries management areas (WPPN) of the Republic of Indonesia (RI). IPB expert, Prof. Indra Jaya said that this Ministerial decree is to avoid overfishing in Indonesia.  The Ministerial Decree also mandates periodic assessments and reviews of fish potential estimates, the number of permitted catches, and the level of fish resource utilization in WPPN RI that has been determined. This estimate has been carried out through data collection by researchers from various sources, some of which come from surveys using research vessels, and observers, and also utilizing fisheries statistics. Dr. Muhammad Mukhlis Kamal also welcomed the publication of the latest data on potential fish resources in Indonesia.

 

Public discussion on the potential economic impacts of IUU Fishing in Indonesia

 

Dr. Lucky Adrianto, an IPB University expert, discussed the potential economic impact of IUU Fishing together with other reviewers from the RPOA-IUU Secretaria. In this forum reviewers and participants discuss several methodological elements to overcome IUU fishing, including utilizing data from overlayed satellite imagery and VMS, integrating vessels’ operational criteria, and underscoring the unreported and unregulated fishing aspects within Fisheries Management Area 718.

 

CCRMS – IPB University Guards Maritime Legal Security to minimize IUU Fishing

CCRMS – IPB University collaborated with DPD RI to hold a focus group discussion (FGD) on managing the Maritime Legal Security System, immigration, customs, human trafficking, illegal fishing, narcotics, and theft of marine resources. This discussion was held on 17th February 2022 in Bogor. On this occasion, IPB experts in the maritime sector were invited. Prof. Rokhmin said that with the revision of the Law on Maritime Affairs regarding the Maritime Security Agency, it is hoped that there will be harmonization in handling security and law enforcement at sea. Apart from that, Prof. Yonvitner added several suggestions, including firstly that Bakamla is the “coordinator” in maritime security operations; secondly, there is a need to include an integrated “safety” aspect, including human safety, activities, ecosystems, and the environment in Bakamla’s duties. So that illegal fishing and theft of marine resources can be minimized.

IPB Expert  criticized Indonesia’s collection system of catch fisheries data

 

Dr. Eko Sri Wiyono dan Dr. Vita Rumanti Kurniawan, IPB Expert from the Department of Fishery Resources Utilization. IPB Expert and the team criticized Indonesia’s collection system of catch fisheries data. Based on the results of their research in collecting data on catches by Trolling Line Fishing Vessels in the period 2012 – 2022 at PPN Palabuhanratu, it is indicated that misreporting occurred at 46.52 – 228.02 tons/year or reaching 11.7 – 28.8% below the actual catch. The discrepancies and errors in data collection are caused by several reasons, including using the net for bait, consumption on board, ship crew (ABK) allowances, and labor wages when unloading cargo. These facts encourage the need to improve the catch data collection system by identifying and quantifying the potential for misreported catch data so that fisheries management can be carried out appropriately and correctly. Unreported fishing causes errors in fisheries data, widely used in determining fisheries policies. They critiqued that data reporting errors are common in small-scale fisheries and that changes in the collection system of catch fisheries data are required through the identification and quantification of potential misreporting. Illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing is the primary source of errors in fisheries data, which causes data to be underestimated and creates state losses.

IPB University has a faculty and two research centers that focus on areas of activities related to aquatic ecosystem conservation and sustainability. To promote conservation and sustainable use, various events have been implemented by IPB University in collaboration with some partners. In 2022, IPB held several events, partnering with COREMAP-CTI, WWF, and others.

School of Coral Reef Restoration (SCORES)

 

Since 2021, the Department of Marine Science and Technology at IPB University has organized an educational program named School of Coral Reef Restoration (SCORES) supported by WWF. SCORES educates the participants about the restoration of coral reefs through transplantation. Each session of this program featured presentations from various experts. In 2022, SCORES has held 18 meetings.

 

IPB University Lecturers Developed E-DNA for Coral Reef in Tejakula, Buleleng Regency, Bali

 

Lecturers from the Department of Marine Science and Technology IPB University took samples of e-DNA from coral reefs in Tejakula, Bali. These samples will be used to monitor the condition of marine biodiversity in Tejakula so that the artificial reef can be planted afterward.

 

Aquatic Ranger Expedition

 

HIMASPER (Water Resources Management Student Organization) IPB University held an Aquatic Ranger Expedition (Aquaration) program in Pramuka Island, Jakarta. The purpose of Aquaration is to localize and promote the conservation of Pramuka Island’s coral reefs. There were more than 30 people participated in this program. 

 

Coral Reef Transplantation with PT PHE-ONWJ

 

PPLH (Environment Study Center) IPB University with PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java (PHE-ONWJ) initiated coral reef transplantation in Sukekerta Village, Karawang Regency, West Java. The Village Government, Lembaga Pandu Alam Sendulang, and the village community are also involved in this program. The coral reef transplant media used in this program is the innovation of IPB University coral reef expert, Dr. Wazir Mawardi.

Food from aquatic ecosystems

IPB ensures that food on campus must be supplied from sustainably managed aquatic ecosystems and sustainably harvested as mandated in Circular Letter No. 24714/IT3/HM/M/B/2021 concerning Healthy and Sustainable Lifestyle in IPB University. This commitment, particularly in point 5 (page 4) aims to make sure the quality of food sources, all university agency organizations, and all contracted and subcontracted services must:

  • Provide local and or community-based products and healthy and nutritional foods
  • Maintain food health and hygiene, environmental hygiene, and the beauty, order, and preservation of garden facilities and public facilities in the environment around the Canteen
  • Assess and monitor the ethics behind the seafood the University serves and tell the University suppliers to remove endangered species from menus and catering
  • Maintain the canteen environment by paying attention to the level of hygiene, cleanliness, health, and halal of food
  • Maintain the quality of food and the cleanliness of utensils and equipment used in providing food
  • Comply with and implement food quality requirements and minimum service standards

This circular letter is a derivative of the Rector’s Regulation No 133/2020 about IPB commitments on the implementation of SDGs (point j page 2).

All university agency organizations and all contracted and subcontracted services shall adhere to these regulations. The requirements herein shall be written into all Requests for Proposals, contracts, sponsorship agreements, and strategic alliance agreements that pertain to the procurement of products or services. Any variances shall be approved in writing by the Director of Business, IPB University.

Maintain ecosystems and their biodiversity

IPB University works directly to maintain and expand existing ecosystems and their biodiversity, both plants and animals, especially threatened ecosystems.

PKSPL IPB University collaborated with the State Electricity Company (PLN)

 

PKSPL IPB is collaborating with PLN in repairing damaged coral reef ecosystems in the Yensawai Village area. This rehabilitation uses a transplant method which is carried out in stages with growth monitoring which can be carried out after three months of the process.

 

PPLH IPB University Monitored Coral Reef in Biawak Island

 

In 2022, the Environment Study Center (PPLH) IPB University monitored and evaluated transplanted coral reefs in Biawak Island, Indramayu Regency, West Java. This monitoring also collects data about the growth of transplanted coral reefs, the condition of natural corals around the transplanted areas, the percentage of coral cover, varieties of corals, and identification and estimation of the quantity of reef fish.

Professor Jonson Lumban Gaol and the students of postgraduate marine technology plant 250 mangroves in Pari Island, Jakarta. This event is part of the student field trip to support student knowledge through learning outside the classroom.

 

Green Belt Conservation

 

HIMASPER (Water Resources Management Student Organization) IPB University held Green Belt Conservation (GBC) in Patramanggala Village, Banten. GBC is an annual program from HIMASPER and has been implemented for 4 years in Patramanggala Village. In 2022, GBC planted 1000 mangroves and monitored the previously planted ones. This program aims to restore the mangrove cover and restore the tiger prawn (Penaeus monodon) population in Patramanggala Village.

Technology towards aquatic ecosystem damage prevention

PKSPL IPB provides Marine Monitoring Technology to the West Papua Provincial Government

 

In 2022, IPB provided SIMONA to the West Papua government. SIMONA (‘Archipelago Monitoring System’) is designed to facilitate marine monitoring to reduce IUU fishing practices. Indonesia’s national spatial planning (mainly coastal and marine) is often incompatible, so conflicts often arise because this space has been used by other parties, both legally and illegally. This activity included the Coral Reef Rehabilitation and Management Program – Coral Triangle Initiative (COREMAP-CTI), a grant from the World Bank through the Indonesian Climate Change Trust Fund of the Ministry of National Development Planning/BAPPENAS.

IPB University Donate FADs for Fisherman

 

IPB University handed over three portable FADs to fishing lines and purse seine fishers in Bandar Lampung City. This assistance was used as a trial material for using portable FADs from IPB University innovations by fishers in Lampung Province. These FADs are given to fishermen to campaign sustainable fisheries practices by avoiding destructive fishing (ecosystem damage prevention).

IPB University’s TREKFish Technology Has Been Used by Crab Fishermen in Several Areas

 

Researchers at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) IPB University succeeded in developing TREKFish technology. A tool used to track fishing trails (fish, crab, lobster, and others) equipped with fishER™ software (Fisheries Electronic Reporting). The research team consisting of Prof. Indra Jaya, Dr. Hawis Madduppa, and Muhammad Iqbal, SPi, MSi saw that the high demand for crab meat processing had an impact on increasing the intensity of crab catching. This causes the current crab population to experience overfishing and critical, so it needs to be managed.

The Directorate of Infrastructure and Campus Environment Security – IPB University released a Standard Operating Procedure for Wastewater Management that adopts water quality standards and guidelines for water discharges released by the Indonesian Ministry of Forestry and Environment Regulation No: P.68/Menlhk/Setjen/Kum.1/8/2016 concerning Domestic Wastewater Quality Standards.

The direction to protect the environment, including implementing wastewater management, has been stipulated in the Rector’s Decree No 133/2020 (point s page 2) concerning the commitment of IPB to achieving Sustainable Development Goals.

Academic Paper of Planning of Green Campus Implementation 2019 – 2023 also describes guidelines for the compliance of all national and international water quality standards as stipulated in Chapter 4, Sub-Chapter 4.1. (Page 47-48) and Chapter 5.8 (page 94) and Chapter 6.7 (Page 123).

Implemented in the form of an appeal to reduce the use of plastic bags, bottled drinking water, Styrofoam, and paper, which aim to reduce the impacts of land-based activities on marine. We also issued a circular letter in 2021 regarding 

  1. Healthy and Sustainable Lifestyle to prevent waste in sea and river in Circular Letter No. 24714/IT3/HM/M/2021 (Page 2 Point 3).
  2. Waste Management to Reduce River and Sea Pollution in Letter No. 22015 /lT3/KP/2021 (Points 5-7).

Since 2019, we have several commitments regarding action to reduce plastic waste as follows:

Green Movement

The Green Movement consists of five collaborative movements to realize the IPB Green Campus 2020. The five collaborative movements are (1) Healthy Canteen Ecolabelling, (2) Procurement of Tumblers and Ecobags (Go-Teco), (3) Plastic Elimination Policy on Campus ( Caring for Environment), (4) Standardization of Trash Cans, and (5) Thematic Day (#Hayu Atuh Movement). Also since 2021, IPB collaborated with Mountrash to implement plastic waste management.

The Cleanliness and Restriction of Plastic Use Procedures aim to provide guidance in the environmental hygiene aspects of PKSPL-IPB as well as restrictions on the use of plastic in office activities. Reducing marine pollution

Policy on Preventing and Reducing Marine Pollution 

 

Over the past year, IPB staff and students have continued to work extensively to develop strategies to deal with plastic pollution. Our contributions have started to generate action at the political level, including a commitment from the local government of Bogor to ban harmful single-use plastics as early as 2018.

Our university has policies on preventing damage to aquatic ecosystems (e.g. river, marine, seagrass ecosystems, coral reefs, mangroves) as stated in the Rector Decree no 133/IT3/LK/2020 point L. This is the strengthening of the previous policy on reducing plastic waste that has been stipulated in the Academic Paper of Green Campus Planning 2019-2023.

Implemented in the form of an appeal to reduce the use of plastic bags, bottled drinking water, Styrofoam, and paper, which aim to reduce the impacts of land-based activities on marine. We also issued a circular letter regarding a Healthy and Sustainable Lifestyle to prevent waste in the sea and river in Circular Letter No. 24714/IT3/HM/M/2021 (Page 2 Point 3). At the lower level, the department or research center applies this policy, such as what has been implemented by CCRMS-IPB, which sets the Standard Procedure for Cleaning and Plastic Reduction in its area of work.

Since 2019, IPB has had a plan to minimize physical, chemical, and/or biological alteration of related aquatic ecosystems. This plan is integrated into the Green Campus Initiatives movement and was mentioned in the Green Campus Academic Paper. Minimizing Alteration of Aquatic Ecosystem especially mentioned in Chapter 4, Sub-Chapter 4.3. (Page 51); Chapter 5.4 (Page 77) & Chapter 6.3 (Page 112). The Green Campus Team of IPB University is an ongoing and forthcoming study of the campus’ existing operational activities to be annually held in compliance with current regulations in Indonesia.

It is implemented based on the Standard Operational Procedures on Hazardous Waste Treatment supervised by the Directorate of General Affairs.

IPB University has fulfilled wastewater disposal standards based on ISO/IEC 17025 (General requirements for the competence of testing & calibration laboratories). Several laboratories of IPB have received ISO/IEC 17025 certification.

The PPLH IPB Team Carried Out Monitoring of Sites/Reservoirs in DKI Jakarta

 

The PPLH IPB team carried out monitoring of sites/reservoirs in DKI Jakarta which were included in the management priority category. The lakes/reservoirs that are the focus of this review are Situ Rawa Badung and Situ Customs which are adjacent to residential areas. For comparison, the team also monitored Situ Rawa Gelam which is included in the management area of the Pulo Gadung Industrial Estate (Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung-JIEP). From the results of this monitoring, the team identified the types of pollutant sources that might enter the water body, visually observed the condition of the in situ water body, and the location of waste generation around the lake/reservoir which has the potential to pollute the aquatic environment. The presence of waste generation entering the reservoir/reservoir accelerates the process of silting up, and clogging the inlet and outlet water channels.

In 2022, PPLH IPB University monitored the health of river water ecosystems in 5 rivers in DKI Jakarta. Monitoring activities were carried out at 120 monitoring points in 23 river networks namely Ciliwung River, Cipinang, Angke, Sekertaris, Sepak, Mookervart, Grogol, Sunter, Krukut, Cengkareng, Buaran, Petukangan, Jati Kramat, West Kalibaru, East Kalibaru, East Kanal, Cakung, Cideng, Mampang, West Tarum, Kamal, Pesanggrahan, and Blencong. DKI Jakarta Province is traversed by several rivers that empties into Jakarta Bay, this system is partly upstream in West Java Province and Banten Province.

 

IPB Experts Monitor Fish Biodiversity in Ciliwung River, Indonesia

 

In 2022, Prof. Hefni and the Team conducted a study to monitor fish biodiversity in the Ciliwung River by e-DNA Method. Environmental DNA (eDNA) is a technology that can assist humans in producing more comprehensive biodiversity data than the conventional technology that has been widely used. This study aimed to assess the biodiversity of fish species at several points in the Downstream Ciliwung River, Jakarta, Indonesia. Among the 69 analyzed fish specimens, there were detected 11 species from 8 genera, 8 families, and 7 orders. The Cichlidae family was represented by the highest number of species. The diversity index (H’) ranged from 0 to 1.59 (low to moderate diversity), while the dominance index (D) ranged from 0.24 to 1 (low to high dominance). The native species were not detected in the Ciliwung River by the eDNA method. The eDNA method can be an effective tool for the next generation of biodiversity monitoring technology.

Environmental Research Center (Pusat Penelitian Lingkungan Hidup) IPB with PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java (PHE ONWJ) and Balai Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam (BKSDA) supports Pulau Rambut Island to verify the mangrove planting at the Pulau Rambut Wildlife Reserve.

Environmental Research Center (Pusat Penelitian Lingkungan Hidup) IPB  monitors the restoration of the mangrove ecosystem in Bekasi, Karawang, and Kepulauan Seribu. This Monitoring was carried out from September 26 until October 6, 2022.

Waste Cleaning in Pulau Mansinam, West Papua 

 

IPB University, the Agrarian Ministry, and other institutions take action to clean the marine waters in Pulau Mansinam, Manokwari Regency, West Papua. This event aims to maintain the sustainability of marine and coastal ecosystems so that it is not polluted by household waste. This event also supports the implementation of the Coastal Zone and Small Islands Zoning Plan (Rencana Zonasi Wilayah Pesisir dan Pulaupulau Kecil (RZWP3K).

Collaboration for shared aquatic ecosystems

PPLH IPB University with Pertamina North West Java Organized Coral Reefs Transplantation in Karawang, West Java

 

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java (PHE-ONWJ) collaborated with IPB University and the Desa Sukakerta community to organize coral reef transplantation in Karawang, West Java. This program was conducted based on the decreasing area of patch reefs in Desa Surakarta.

 

PKSPL IPB University collaborates with Raja Ampat Marine Geopark to Organize Clean Beach Action

 

On February 9, 2022, the Center for Coastal and Marine Resources Studies, Bogor Agricultural Institute (PKSPL IPB) through the implementation of the Coral Reef Rehabilitation and Management Program – Coral Triangle Initiative (COREMAP-CTI), invited the Raja Ampat Geopark to carry out the Clean Beach action which was held at WTC Beach.

Watershed management strategy

IPB University has implemented a watershed management strategy through some activities: 

Develop River and Water Quality in Jakarta (Watershed Management)

 

In 2022,  PPLH IPB collaborated with the government of Jakarta Province to monitor rivers in DKI Jakarta. This monitoring aimed to check river water quality and was carried out for 4 (four) periods in one year. This monitoring representation of the seasons was the rainy season, two transition seasons, and the dry season. Period I (February 25 to April 4, 2022), Period II (May 12 to  June 20, 2022), Period III (July 28 to August 30, 2022), Period IV (September 8 to  October 11, 2022).

Integrated Marine, Coastal, and Watershed Management for Sustainable Development

 

Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences-IPB University developed the guideline for integrated watershed, coastal, and marine management for sustainable development. These guidelines include, first, the rate (intensity) of development (total human need for natural resources and environmental services) must not exceed the carrying capacity of a spatial development unit (natural ecosystem or administrative unit) to produce these natural resources and environmental services. Second, demand is equal to f (population, space requirements per capita, natural resource consumption per capita, waste and emissions per capita, and exports). Third, Carrying capacity is equal to f (unit size of spatial development, potential for renewable natural resources, non-renewable natural resources, waste assimilation capacity, life support functions, technology, and imports).

 

PKSPL IPB University Monitors on Environmental Quality of Estuary Area in Bengawan Solo River

 

PKSPL IPB University monitors environmental quality, flora, and fauna in Ujung Pangkah, East Gresik. The Ujung Pangkah area is an estuary area of ​​the Bengawan Solo River. Its existence has become very important for the coastal life support system. The government has designated this area as one of the Mangrove Essential Ecosystem Areas through the Minister of Forestry Letter No. S.729/Menhut – IV/2012 and complemented by the Decree of the Governor of East Java No. 188/309/KPTS/013/2020. This site is an Internationally designated location as a wetland habitat of Global importance. This area is a habitat for various aquatic and terrestrial biota, a migration area for migratory birds (especially Pelicans), and a location for livelihoods such as fishermen or fish farmers. This monitoring was routinely carried out every year, and in 2021 it was conducted for about one week (1-7 November 2021). This monitoring aimed at the quality of the physical environment (such as air, sedimentation, and air), the quality of flora and fauna, and the social and economic conditions of the community.

IPB University Signed a Collaboration Agreement with PT Krakatau Tirta Industri (KTI)

 

In August 2022, IPB University signed a collaboration agreement about watershed management with PT Krakatau Tirta Industri (KTI). In this document, IPB University agreed to support KTI’s social and environmental contribution planning.
