IPB University actively collaborates with various national and international institutions in conducting various research activities in the field of health and biomedical sciences to improve well-being outcomes.
International Collaboration
- Affordable Health Services
Collaboration between IPB University and the University of Nottingham regarding the project to provide affordable health services related to manufacturing bone repair biomaterials for bone trauma, bone tuberculosis, bone cancer, and bone fractures The project provides materials for biomedical applications that all levels of society can reach, especially in low-income countries like Indonesia. This collaboration also aims to improve meaningful research for society.

IPB University, through the School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedicine (SKHB), inaugurated the establishment of the One Health Collaborating Center (OHCC) which was named the Global Health Agromaritime and One Health Collaborating Center (GHA-OHCC). This inauguration was marked by the signing of a memorandum of understanding between IPB and the Indonesia One Health University Network (INDOHUN) with the full support of the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) at the IPB International Convention Center. <<see the details>>
National Collaboration
- IPB University is collaborating with Wings Group to establish Indonesia’s first virus testing laboratory unit. Virus testing for quality, certified PKRT (Household Health Supplies), and medical equipment products This laboratory unit can conduct testing processes for bacteria, fungi, and viruses in a short period of time at an affordable cost.
<<see the details>> - IPB University, through the Tropical Biopharmaceutical Research Center, FMIPA, and the computer science department, collaborates with several national institutions, including Padjadjaran University and the Indonesia International Institute for Life Sciences. A webinar was held on July 26, 2022, which discussed bioinformatics and immunoinformatics for the development of the COVID-19 vaccine. <<see the details>>
Local Collaboration
SKHB IPB University signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation agreement with Bundamedik Ltd. The signing of the memorandum of understanding was carried out by the Dean of SKHB IPB University Prof. Drh. Deni Noviana, Ph.D., DAiCVIM and Managing Director of Bundamedik Ltd, Nurhadi Yudiyantho, S.E., Ak. <<see the details>>
Health outreach programmes
IPB University conducted various outreach programs and projects targeted at improving and promoting the health and well-being of local communities, such as:
- IPB students provide education to residents to curb childhood stunting
IPB University, through Student Field Activities (Student Volunteering Program, or Student’s Community Engagement – KKN), provided education to local residents to curb childhood stunting in Kedung Badak Village. This program consists of several activities, such as education programs to prevent childhood stunting, measuring the height and weight of toddlers, raising public awareness about the early symptoms of stunting, and providing recommendations for food ingredients for toddlers. <<see the details>> - IPB University organized a Charity Walk and Run
The series of events for the 59th Anniversary of IPB University, namely the Healthy Morning Walk, was held at the Gymnasium of IPB University. This activity can increase the immunity of IPB University residents and the community around the campus. IPB broke the world record for “Playing the Most Paired Badminton” in this activity. <<see the details>> - In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) program
School of Veterinary Science and Biomedicine IPB University, together with Morula Indonesia, held a talk show for mothers and prospective mothers regarding the In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) program and discussions related to infertility problems that are often encountered by married couples, as well as the frozen embryo transfer (FET) process and knowing success rate. It is hoped that this program can be an alternative solution to the problem of infertility, which is increasing every year.

IPB University Clinic holds PROLANIS activities every Friday, attended by the general public. Prolanis activities consist of medical consultation activities or providing education by doctors, Home visit reminders, Club Activities, Health status monitoring, routine drug services, and PROLANIS activities, which are carried out once a week. <<see the details>>
Shared sports facilities
IPB is committed to improving the mental and physical health and well-being of its students, faculty members, and the public in general. IPB provides outdoor and indoor sports facilities, including football, basketball, volleyball, futsal, table tennis, tennis courts, field turf, swimming pool, etc. Venues are open for public reservation, and only limited facilities need to pay an extra fee.
Gelanggang Olahraga / Soccer field (outdoor)

Gelanggang Olahraga (GOR) Field is a multifunction football field facility shaped as an oval with an athletic racecourse track on the field’s border. The athletic track has a length of 400 m and a width of 10 m. The field itself has an area of 105 x 70 m2. The students always favor the field for daily or weekend sports activities. Other than that, the gymnasium field is also used for other campus events such as student orientation (MPKMB), Gebyar Nusantara Nights, events of Dies Natalis of IPB University, and others.
Gymnasium Indoor

The indoor gymnasium is the main building for every student’s sporting activity. The facility is located on the IPB University Dramaga Campus. Various IPB university-level and faculty-level sports matches are held in the gym facilities, which include futsal, basketball, and aerobics. The gymnasium also facilitates the student and lecture to conduct sports courses for students in the first year.
Agrifitness

Agrifitness is an indoor sports fitness facility in Wisma Landhuis (Landhuis Guesthouse), IPB University Dramaga Campus. This facility is intended for guests staying in the guesthouse. IPB University also has a fitness and wellness center, managed by the Department of Community Nutrition, Faculty of Human Ecology. All faculty, staff, alumni, friends of the university, and part-time students are welcome to join the facility membership program.

Archery Site Facility

IPB University has an archery sports facility for students and public use. Every Sunday, students share about archery through sharing sessions. During the sharing session, the student shares tips and tricks related to practical archery with other IPB University students or the public.
Basketball Field, Badminton, Tennis, and Futsal Facilities

IPB University has three basketball fields, two badminton fields, three tennis fields, and two futsal fields scattered in several places on the IPB University Dramaga Campus and Cilibende Campus.
Equestrian Park IPB University

Equestrian Park IPB is a supporting facility for the activities of the academic community in channeling their interests and talents in equestrian sports. This facility is also open to the public. On weekends, the community around the campus can experience horseback riding on the IPB University equestrian field. This facility can also support the implementation of equestrian competitions between students to increase the development of equestrian sports.
Sexual and reproductive health care services for students
Sexual and Reproductive Health-Care Facilities
The Polyclinic of IPB has the role and functions to serve lecturers, educational staff as well as their main family members, and students with free health care services and basic medical treatment, which includes information and services related to sexual and reproductive health care. Polyclinic of IPB has been appointed as a primary/basic health care provider and therefore allows for free-of-charge service for the public under the National Social Security Agency for healthcare. IPB healthcare providers are committed to caring for the whole student, providing medical counsel and sexual health services. Students are encouraged to discuss their needs, questions, and concerns within the context of an appointment. <<see the details>>

Since 2021, Sapa Agrianita IPB University has organized a sexual and reproductive health seminar for all university members.

Pre-Marriage Course: Preparing, Knowing, and Doing!

Mental health support
IPB University actively promotes good mental health among IPB students, lecturers, and educational staff. IPB University actively established an annual counseling team through Rector’s Decree. A counseling team plays a crucial role in supporting mental health and well-being by providing professional guidance, support, and therapeutic interventions to individuals who may be experiencing emotional, psychological, or behavioral difficulties. The role of a counseling team for mental health can vary depending on the setting and the specific needs of students, staff, and other university stakeholders.

Early Detection and Prevention of Suicide
The National Mental Health Center, Dr H Marzoeki Mahdi Mental Hospital (PKJN RSJMM) collaborates with IPB University to carry out early detection and prevention of suicide. Early detection is carried out by scanning a QR Code which is connected to the suicide prevention instrument provided by PKJN RSJMM. During the event, a collaboration was also signed regarding student mental health between PKJN RSJMM and the Faculty of Human Ecology (FEMA) IPB University. <<see the details>>

IPB University organized a Mental Health seminar in 2022
IPB University, through the Sub-Directorate of Student Welfare and the Directorate of Student Affairs and Career Development (Ditmawa PK), provides mental health training to overcome student mental health problems. This activity was carried out as a form of IPB University’s support and concern for mental health issues during the post-pandemic period. <<see the details>>
Charity Mental Health Webinar
IPB University held a charity mental health webinar presented by IPB students. This activity presents a resource person who is a clinical psychologist and content creator in the mental health field. Delivery of material related to how to avoid self-diagnosis through self-acceptance and ways to maintain mental health among students. This activity is expected to be one of the activities to increase awareness of each person’s mental health.

Smoke-free policy
IPB University has a smoke-free policy, as stated in IPB Rector’s Regulation No. 15 of 2022. Students and lecturers are not permitted to smoke in the room during lecture activities.
IPB University guarantees the availability of no-smoking areas as stated in IPB Rector’s Decree Number 133/IT3/LK/2020 concerning IPB’s commitment to achieving sustainable development goals.
